T oto is a 1,500-square-feet residence in Goregaon, Mumbai, created through the amalgamation of two neighbouring apartments into a cohesive home for a family of three. Named after the family’s beloved turtle, the home reflects a sense of warmth, comfort and individuality through thoughtful spatial planning and layered materiality. Designed around the idea of creating distinct yet connected environments, the residence balances personal expression with a unified architectural language. A sweeping curved ceiling visually ties together the living and dining spaces, while varied palettes and textures define each zone with its own character.

The kitchen seamlessly integrates with the social spaces through flexible sliding and bi-fold partitions, adapting effortlessly between everyday living and entertaining. Across the private quarters, each bedroom reflects the personality of its occupant through unique palettes and moods, while recurring curves, fluted surfaces and softened geometries maintain continuity throughout the home.
